Tantalizing Tuesday – Featuring Chad Le Clos

I am featuring Chad Le Clos this week on my Tantalizing Tuesday series.  Besides being an Olympic Gold Medalist, he is also from my home country, South Africa.  He has just won a couple of gold medals at the 15th Fina world championships in Barcelona this past week.

And let’s not forget to mention that he is really yummy to look at!

Perfect Encouters (2)

I am posting this again as the link was broken when I originally posted it.  It is a great piece of work so please pop over and read it.

Enjoy …..

We all have some secret fantasy of the perfect date or perfect encounter.  I have a number of perfect scenario’s, but I came across a short story (or poem actually) by a fellow blogger the other day and thought it was worth sharing with you all.  The blog is called Easily Aroused.

Pop on over to read it. It is beautifully written.  But please be warned that the blog is described as “Sensual erotic fiction for discerning women”. So it is a little risque and for the over 18’s.  Click on the image below to read it:

Nature somehow seems to set the tone for the perfect encounter.  I have listed some of my perfect scenario’s below and hope I get to experience them all someday:

  • Being out in the bush, alone watching the sun set while sharing a bottle of wine
  • Staying in a castle together, making love in front of the fireplace at night
  • Having a picnic out in the forest, being seduced by the rays of the sun and a cool breeze

Feel free to share some of your perfect encounters in the comments section below, whether you have experienced them or not.  I would love to hear them.

Finding My Inner Goddess – In Sequins!

It is less than a month away till my Belly Dance debut.  I am performing for the very first time on stage.  And I’m scared shitless!

I started Belly Dancing in February this year as a personal challenge.  I must stress the point that I have never danced in my life and I have 2 left feet.  I also work in the events industry and I am very much a behind the scenes kinda person.  I don’t like being in the spotlight.  Belly Dancing has helped me find my Inner Goddess and helped me face many personal challenges – getting up on stage in front of hundreds of people being one of them.  Not to mention that I will be wearing next to nothing!

My costume is ready for final fitting and we have our one and only dress rehearsal on Sunday.  I have been stressing all week and eating myself to death – hope my costume still fits by then!

Bought some kitsch earrings to go with my costume.

Going to look for some more accessories tomorrow. Having hair done early Sunday morning, then dress rehearsal Sunday afternoon.

May need a few shots of Whiskey on Sunday!

We were informed today that the show is sold out, and they have decided to put on a second show. So I now have 2 opportunities to make an absolute fool of myself (be still my beating heart).

Tantalizing Tuesday # 5

I was chatting to son # 2 and his girlfriend in Dubai over Skype on Sunday.   Hubby, my 16 year old son and his girlfriend, along with T1 (the young lad who lives with us) and his girlfriend were also in the room with me.

Somehow the girls all ended up talking about about sexy guys (probably to annoy our various partners). Isn’t it funny how Johnny Depp just seems to appeal to all women of all ages – even teenagers.

Finding the Perfect Man

I think finding the perfect man or partner in life is one of the most difficult tasks you will ever have to undertake.

I came across an online article the other day – one of those Cosmo type checklists and I thought I would make my own list of things I find key in choosing the right man.

You can compromise on so many things but the following should be non-negotiable:

  1. If a man really wants to be with you, nothing will keep him away
  2. Slower is better – don’t rush a relationship
  3. Don’t ever settle – if you have doubts, move on
  4. Trust your instincts
  5. Accept that you will never be able to change a man
  6. He needs to let you be you
  7. You must share common core beliefs and values
  8. He needs to make you laugh – nothing is sexier than a man with a sense of humor
  9. Never let a man (or anyone else) define your worth
  10. Never let a man disrespect you
  11. His job, education and financial status does not make him superior to you and he has no right to belittle you
  12. You must be able to communicate and honest communication is key
  13. He needs to be your friend
  14. He needs to make you feel good about yourself
  15. You need to have a general sense of happiness when around him
  16. He needs to bring out the best in you
  17. Don’t stick around if he is manipulative and controlling
  18. You must share 3 things: Lust, Attraction, Attachment

Are there any points you would like to add?
