Money well spent

Many years ago I tried to teach my eldest son to drive. It was the most frightening thing I have done in my life. After the second lesson, we agreed that I was not the ideal instructor and I paid for proper driving lessons.

When my second son turned 17, I didn’t even suggest that I take him for a lesson – not even one. This way we all managed to stay sane and friends.

I sympathise with all those parents out there who have been in this position and my advice to you all is that money spent on driving schools is money well spent.
